# What is SaveCord? SaveCord is a Discord Bot that adds Verification to your server. But that's not all. The bot itself has existed for more than two years. It was available to a private amount of users and has added thousands of users. Now we decided to make it public. Go to 2. Press **ADD NEW** button\ 3. At first, you will need to enter just any Server Name, after that you will need to choose what bot type you would like to use. \ \ You can see the difference here [Public vs. Custom Bot](/information/public-vs.-custom-bot)\ If you have chosen the custom bot, you can see a guide on how to set up it correctly. After you followed all instructions your verification will be ready.\ Now you can press the **EDIT SERVER** button and customize settings of it (for example giving/removing roles after verification, verification logs, backups, and more) ![](/files/UhLSOTE81YWCp6m7PdR9) # Custom Bot Setup SaveCord provides you with the ability to use your own Application and Bots. \ You can see all benefits of Custom Bot and compare it to the Public Bot there. Don't skip it! {% endhint %} **Keeping this account safe and alive is your job!** If you can do all tips, then do them! Don't be lazy. Spend 15 minutes for one time to keep your members safe forever! **It's safety of your members & business!** Some tips to fully secure your account & bot on it 1. Use a clean browser. (download any new browser, use an existing one that you don't use for discord, any antidetect browser like ) 2. Use a proxy. (be careful with that, after creating account wait for a few hours to see if it will it's still fine) 3. Create a new email / use email you never used. Don't use dot or +1 ways for it. (Make sure you have access to the email and monitor it always) 4. \*\*\* **NEVER** join any servers with it. You **DON'T** need this alt account in your server to invite the bots!!! 5. \*\*\* Don't send any friends invite, don't share the account username and tag to anyone! At the end of setting it up, you should have **2 New Discord Accounts** (made on different browser profiles, proxies, emails if possible) and **2 Discord Bots** ## Creating HUB Application ![](/files/OVEbsWEmE8IJO43xPrOs) This is the application to which all users will be connected once they are verified in your server.\ It's only used for connecting and pulling members to another server to avoid any risks. It doesn't send any messages or give any roles. So it won't be limited or terminated by Discord. #### 1. Go to and create a new application. You can name it as you want and set any avatar. #### 2. After that press on Bot Tab at the left corner and press **Add Bot** ![](/files/pmZrpXtu9DNP1D2vE82Q) #### 3. Turn on all Intents for it and click Save Changes ![](/files/k9XoXPD0KUN6P4NBMtyy) #### 4. You will be provided with a Redirect URL when you create a new server on SaveCord Panel, you need to set it also for this bot ![](/files/qYQh2KmwL2AHUnAj4Sdd) #### 5. Now you can fill the form for Auth Hub on SaveCord Panel with the Client ID, Client Secret, and Bot Token. ![](/files/afscnHc26zzPbNv1TN8d) ![](/files/KlGrbB5aPCltWMIqFlfq) ## Creating HANDLER Application This is the bot that will handle all actions to avoid any limits for the HUB Bot. You can name it as you want, set any avatar, etc. This application can be easily replaced if it gets limited or terminated and you won't lose any verified members. #### Repeat everything except setting Redirect URL from the HUB Bot Setup (Create a new application, turn on all intents for the bot) and fill the form for Auth Handler on SaveCord Panel # Public vs. Custom Bot {% hint style="success" %} ### It's highly recommended to use Custom Bot if you can afford it. It saves Channels, Roles, Server Settings, and even Messages (up to 1000 per channel). {% endhint %} Once you add verification to your server with Custom Bot, bot will automatically create **#backup-panel** channel and you will see all information in this channel.
